University of Tennessee, Knoxville Graduate Admissions Cuts Application Review Time by More than a Month!

University of Tennessee, Knoxville recently selected CollegeNET’s Admit application evaluation system to replace their paper review process. The new system has not only helped the school’s Graduate Admissions centralize and streamline their entire application processing and decision process, it has also saved a lot of administrative time.

According to Yvonne Kilpatrick, Assistant Dean and Director for Graduate Admissions at University of Tennessee,

"[Using Admit] we have reduced the time to review applications for admissibility to the Graduate School by at least five weeks during the peak season."

In addition to saving time, UT Grad’s switch to Admit has made the evaluation process simpler and more convenient for the review committee. In fact, the system appears to have won over even the most ardent skeptics: One mathematics faculty member who had formerly refused to look at anything but paper ultimately chose to use Admit exclusively.

One of the big advantages of the Admit system is Admit Reader, which allows authorized faculty to review and evaluate applications on their mobile devices, anytime, anywhere.
